Randomly raising the price of services?

So yeah, the price for off-shop went from 1 Silver to 2 Silvers. Is there a reason for this? Are the Admins gonna keep raising the prices when they feel like it?

A lot of people here on the forum complained on the density of traders in Giran Harbor, asking to reduce the distance between traders because they couldn't find a place. After two weeks of complaints, the admin increased the price of off-trade as a solution. Sounds counter-intuitive, I know, but this is how local admins solve complaint problems. And yes, the price can increase further if complaints don't stop.

I suggested that they limit it to lvl 40 with 2nd class done, and 1 gold per 24 hours.

One extra silver will do very little to discourage guys like you. Since if you think of it, its like 300k per month AFK. (A neglectable amount of adena, considering the millions you are getting for 24/7 trading all month.)

 

But I am happy to see that it at least tilts you a bit...

Hello and who are you, the forum clown? I don't know what's more pathetic, you trying to be antagonistic towards me or you missing the point of my post completely. Not looking at the fact that raising the price does nothing to reduce the abundance of offline shops (40lvl 2nd class would actually be a good idea), at what point did I say the price being high was the issue? The issue was them bumping it up, 2 gold for a week of PA today? maybe 3 gold tomorrow? maybe 4 gold a week after that?

The answer was that traders should spread across other locations instead of all staying in Giran Harbour and create lags there for everyone. The steps they took and if necessary are going to take in the future are in this direction. Increasing trading price and trading distance does exactly that. 

I think that currently there are too many people of need of trading space and maybe it will change in the future , but for now the steps they took for their goal are not enough. I think that if they really want people to trade in other locations than in Giran Harbour it should be a lot harder to trade there than it is now. (In other locations things just hardly sell if at all at the moment).

Because it is relatively hard to sell anything it just leaves me with quite a bit of unsold stuff and i am not entirely sure if its ok like that.
