L2 Client CPU MULTY core problem !!!!

Hi guys,

 

 

few days ago I had a issue with the motherboard so I replaced it with another one similar where I noticed a significant drop in the FPS in L2 Asterios client from the last motherboard with exactly the same parts  then I found that not all the CPU cores working with the game and probably from that and the problem is coming can you help me out how to fix this problem and all the CPU cores to start working again with the client so I can have some smooth gameplay thank you

La2 not friendly with multi-core system

Googling shows that your processor has a turbo speed of 3.5ghz, and it runs at base of 2.7ghz max, find out why the turbo speed is not working, if you didn't so far maybe try and get the drivers from the manufacturer for both the motherboard and the processor.

Most likely not the case but i personally had a problem once where i had bad fps (micro-freezes to be more specific) because i didn't apply thermal paste properly. Wasn't an easy problem to solve because cpu temperatures were looking fine.

Edit: All cores are not supposed to work, most games run on 1-4 cores.

I would suggest you to check the drivers from Motherboard also the firmware version, as also check the Xeon processor latest drivers from Intel website! 

Just to mention here and check the settings of your BIOS!

One of the three should do the job!

True, just looked one more time and at the very end it does go past 2.7ghz, very strange that it works at base for almost all of the video. No idea why then.
