starting on x1

Greetings 

 

Anyone thinking of starting on x1 when september comes and i wanted to see how many english speaking ppl will want to join also, im sure the russians speak english at least some of them but it would be nice to hear some ideas from your guys also.

I'm not sure about the classes yet but it would be preferred to make a small cp since we will be able to drag a buffer after us and make the game less frustrating though its 1x :)

I was in MOS today and i could have sworn a dwarf called lop was boting

You always may report a player if you suspect him at boting. Usually boting players is tracking by admins and banned quickly.

 I did see bots on Asterios only 2 times (and i play here for a pretty long time) , one time in MOS and one time in Mithrill Mines.
The first one was lucky that he stopped to play faster than forum support answered my report , second one i was too lazy to report.
It is gonna take forever for them to get anywhere in those locations (MOS monsters for example hit very hard from magic crit so you must take rooms with only 3 monsters or you can die) , and if they expand and try to take more rooms then i am pretty sure it is gonna get someone to check on them real fast.

There usually are some kinda international guilds in every Phoenix x7 server on Asterios  . Try to find something in-game if you don't find on forum.

I came here (10+ years ago) becuase the server I was playing before got overcrowded with bots. (24/7 botting and going live for siege every 2 weaks or so.) And noone cared about this. I tested all that was available (walker, .net, etc...) on Asterios, nothing worked. So I decided to give it a chance... 

 

This server is so custom, that it fucks the brain out of anything that is not custom made.

And even if some program can handle the server one way or another, he gets caught immediately.

 

And last, the population is so fucking high, that even in some remote farm location, you will always see someone. There is no place safe to hide and farm.

If you get lucky and you do not get banned at your first day, someone will report you and fuck you up.

 

Some people complain that people speak only russian, and that there are some strange features, but there are NO FUCKING BOTS here.

This is the one thing that makes me play Asterios, above everything else.

 

I strongly recommend giving this server a chance. And more importantly - the 1x server that is comming up.

This was nowhere to find for the last 10 years, and maybe this will be the last time in your life, where you will be able to play 1x hardcore lineage server.

Other MMORPG are so fucking commercial right now. If you want to feel what it is to play a game, where you dont have to pull out your credit card, Asterios 1x will be your last chance.

Russians speak our language as well...

If you talk to them in our language, the chance that they will answer is much higher, than asking them something in english.

i'm not sure what you ment by that...I dont speak russian, though my wife does, so i can't really start a conversation in russian and switch to english, but i agree that the 1x a good an only choice a the moment especially if there are no bots.

I dont want to play on the existing one since i will way too behind so i will wait for the 1x.

If you just wait a bit, till those changes get relatively "final", I will be posting a translation to my English speaking friends :)

 

There is no point in translating it right now, because they are changing all the time.

And I think they will change quite a few times, before and after the beta test :)

yes but on top there is a windowed line , if I remove that line with double click it becomes fullscreen again.

Close the client

Find the AsteriosGame.ini file (in an asterios folder)

Search for and set UseWindowFrame=False

Start the client.

One more thing , on FPS count it shows that its 60 , can i make it go up to 144 fps ? In option I selected 144 but in login screen it shows that its only up to 60 fps. Does that change when I get ingame ?

There is a chat command /limitfps

you can use it ingame like /limitfps 60
