Admin explain about new client

So like i understand all asterious.tm servers moving to god client and will be r99 grade? Or just like classic server all texture u gona change and whats it ?

why do you think so?

this is not really GOD client at all... it's just based on GOD core, with HF maps, skills, quests etc.

Firstly, I'm not GM, i'm not connected with Arterios Team. I'm just a player.

Trust me at your own risk.

 

Game chronicle features will not be changed at all. Totally not at release of new client.

Some GoD features will be available through game client-side features such as switch/add/delete sub class without talking to NPC (but only in peace zone, not everywhere as in original GoD).

New client will be based on Lindvior graphics core (as "Drin said). It means client supporting modern graphics devices and DirectX features. For player it produces new graphics settings flexibility and improved performance for modern PCs. May be it will not so laggy at siege events when a lot of players having battle in same location (i hope). And new graphics render will be more attractive. Gamers like cool graphics. :)

As result, updating to new client makes game more cool not only with new client features but with client graphics core.

 

For admins new client is gate to new experience. May be we'll see L2 that no one saw before.

Alternative scenario of L2 evolution as it could be if NCSoft didn't make the GoD mistake.

 

I trust admins because everyone of them is a L2 gamer and fan. And they don't like original GoD as everybody reading this message.

Keep calm and wait.

 

P.S. GoD client core doesn't have native support for WinXP and its environment. If you still have it - try to update to Windows 7 or 8.x. Don't be an anchor of progress.
