LORD OF THE RINGS - CHEST FARMNG

There is a good reason, and this is it. Lord of the rings chest farming.

At the end of reading this, you will know how to be in top 1% rich players, by playing 15-20 minutes a day.

 

Basics we need to know:

1. Chest levels are divisible by 3. (21, 24, 27, 30, ...)

2. Chests are spawned near monsters +/- one level. 

3. Chest on 1.5x and 7x open with 100% chance. On 1x/7x - there is good chance of failure.

 

So when the server decides it is now time to spawn new 45 level chest, you can be sure that the chest will be around 44, 45 or 46 level monster. This includes quest monsters, and some "decorative" monsters, like the practice dummies, pets in farm clan hall etc...

 

First conclusion that we can make is that:

 

AREAS WITH HIGH MONSTER VERIETY HAS HIGHER CHANCE TO GET CHEST SPAWNED IN IT.

(This is totally relevant if we are going to walk around and look for chests. But we are not actually going to.)

 

We are going to use a tactics found in the movie LORD OF THE RINGS - THE RETURN OF THE KING.

And most specifically - the alarm system: Beacon-hills of Gondor.

I assume you all have seen the movie, because if you have not - I do not know what you guys live for anyway.

 

The difference is that instead of making fires, we will be using level 1 dwarfs, summoned to key positions around the map, spread around multiple accounts that allows us to cover great distance in matter of seconds. Just like in the movie.

 

Now, when someone talks about farming chests, he is talking about farming Anakims.

Forget about this. It is not worth it. Too much concurrency, you will often see multiple people running around like chickens without heads.

 

We do the following:

 

1/1.5x:

Focus on chests level 42, and 45.

We are interested in:

1. BRES scrolls.

2. Dragon Bomber transform.

Check every monster, from level 41 to level 46. Not one or two. 

EVERY. SINGLE. ONE.

 

This is important. Level one summoner - I recommend Phantom Summoner, and then summon about 70 dwarfs (10 accounts.) around the zones that have 41-46 level monster.

 

With this strategy, you can control the supply of the highly looked after transform.

This is 2 (on average) gold if you find a chest. But since we have dwarfs in all zones, we actually find ALL the chests 41 and 45.

 

I got 200 gold in around a month, checking chests before work, and before bed time.

 

5/7x:

Focus on 48,51,63,66.

 

We are interested in:

1. Veil Master.  (This is more 5x thing, but we stockpile on 7x so we sell them for 100kkk on 5x when merged)

2. Heretic. (This is more of a 7x thing, but it is nice bonus for 5x as well.)

3. 60+ chests give permanent transform Dragon Bomber.

 

The zones are more. They are much difficult to reach. Covering them, even with gaps requires a bit of planning and preparation. I am going to be honest - I ignore certain zones, that I do not want to have anything to do with them (GC lower level for example, this place gives me the creeps).

 

Even then, the amount of chest you find is more enough. You will get bored opening them and selling. And while not as profitable as on 1x, you can sell veil masters as 4 to 1 gold.

 

The farming is very simple. 

You can do it on 1 PC.

You do not need 8 support characters.

You do not need luck or any investment.

 

For quality of life - 61 level treasure hunter with stealth, DEX marks and DK robe set.

I had limited time to play asterios lately, and this strategy was one of the few, that can get me a top gear by playing on only 1 pc.

You can open chests, set shop, go to work, and when you get back home - the gold is waiting for you.
