I never had any problems with catching the moment when the state changes.
My ping to the server is extremely low, and I never had any problems. I do not use any remote software.
The interface responds very quick, no lag at all.
Just, when I start to fish, I get animation (for reeling) I click (reel) and it fails.
Then, right after this (few milliseconds maybe), I click pull - success. The animation is still for reeling...
Again pull - success. The animation is still for reeling...
Again pull - failed. The animation is still for reeling...
So somewhere between 2nd and 3rd skill, the server state changed from pulling to reeling.
But my animation was reeling all the time, I have seen no change whatsoever.
After this first initial change, everything is fine till the very end.
The status at the server, and my animation match 100% no matter how many changes will follow.
I fished myself into S84, It is perfectly viable way of making profit.
But this bug gets on my nerves, since it is so random...
In almost all cases the initial animation will match the correct state.
But sometimes it will not be, and then there are two options. Either you fail at start, then compensate before the state changes and you get the fish.
Or you fail. Also, if during this time, if you get unlucky to get Skill Mastery proc... to use twice the "correct" skill at the bugged animation. You are done.
And it tilts even harder, because it is literally instant catch otherwise...
